Running alongside the Horsham Rotary family event Funday Sunday

A unique social event run by the community for the community. A place where instead of buying new things, people share, swap or recycle stuff. People meet each other to share skills, ideas and stories – like an old-fashioned market but with no money.

All welcome to this COMPLETELY FREE family fun event

  • Bring and take area – clothes, DVDs, books etc
  • Sit, chat and share a smile
  • Sharing eco fashion, eco inventions, passion, hobbies
  • Pop-up Horsham Repair Café – electrical items, laptops, mobile phones and clothes – if you want to bring a repair please book here
  • Energy advice and switching to 100% renewable clean energy providers
  • Horsham Painting Group sharing their passion for painting
  • Crafty activities for adults and children including card making, knitting and crochet
  • Waste not want not cooking lessons and wild food tasting
  • 15-20 minute healing sessions and learn about the power of crystals
  • WSCC Waste Prevention Team sharing recycling best practice – plus games!
  • Free give-aways from Rubies in the Rubble chutneys and sauces sustainable food and Green People West Sussex based natural and organic beauty products
  • The ‘Future We Want’ stand displaying primary school childrens wishes for their future and the William Penn School’s prize winning sustainable & ethical clothes detector game
  • This is a Climate Coalition Speak Up Week event. Jeremy Quin MP and some County Councillors will be visiting the Share Fair at about 2pm, this is your change to have a climate heart to heart with them. Whether this is your first time talking about climate change or you’re on first-name terms with Jeremy Quin, the Speak Up Week is for everyone—and the best news is, there’s absolutely no wrong way to get involved!

Timed activities:

  • 1pm and 2pm – Magog sharing their passion for Morris Dancing
  • 1.30pm and 2.30pm – Yoga sessions
  • 2pm (approx.) – Climate heart to heart with our MP and County Councillors
  • 3pm (approx) – Parade of Goran the Earth Dragon and his eco followers (in upcycled clothes)
  • 3.15pm (approx) – Goran the Earth Dragon storytelling
  • 3.30pm (approx) – Earth Guardian’s ceremony by One Spirit Interfaith Minister Jeanie Francis


Bring a picnic and a smile, come and have fun.  This is YOUR event! It is run for the community by the community – you can contribute any skill or just give your time and conversation. We need local people to help us develop this pocket Share Fair into something truly different and special. We are running a bigger Share Fair in 2019 as part of the HDC Year of Culture.
