Single-use plastics

We work with a number of charities and companies who recycle the single-use plastics listed below. TerraCycle being one of the companies, they are an innovative recycling company that has become a global leader in recycling hard-to-recycle materials. This scheme helps diverts billions of waste resouces from our landfills and incinerators, recycling them to make new products.

We have special recycling bins at these public drop off locations:

  • William Penn Primary School, Coolham, Nr Billingshurst, RH13 8GR – school hours only.
  • Quaker Meeting House, Worthing Road, Horsham, RH12 1SL – use the green bin by the cottage door, right side of the main building, under the window).

Did you know we offer a personal and household cleaning product bottle refill service at the Horsham Repair Cafe on the first Saturday of every month? Saving you money and reducing the number of plastic bottles which need recycling. At the Horsham Repair Cafe you can also buy organic, dry and loose food from a new Horsham based company Earthkind, bring your own container and only pay for the food! They can also be found in Horsham Market 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month and the 2nd Thursday of the month in Wisborough Green.

Prices may vary from those shown above.
