Christmas crackers making workshop
The zero-waste movement is seemingly the antithesis of Christmas – a time of huge consumption and over-indulgence. But far from being for the Seasonal Scrooge, buying more consciously at Christmas means all of the joy of the feast without the guilt of chucking huge amounts of leftovers in the (compost) bin and adding to the mountains of rubbish once celebrations are over.
10 am – 1 pm Horsham Quaker Meeting House, Worthing Road, Horsham, RH12 1SL – the household cleaning product bottle refill service and Earthkind loose, dry and organic food refill.
10 am – 1 pm Unitarian Church Hall (about four buildings up Worthing Road opposite the bus station – same postcode) – All household electrical, phone, computer and textile repairs. Note there will be no energy switching this month.
