Friday 29th November
Time: From 12 noon – 2pm + after school 3.30-5pm
Venue: Bandstand in the Carfax, Horsham
The Event: Global Climate Strike with Climate Hustings 3.30 – 4pm : Assemble & prepare (with spoken word and Samba Band) for Climate March. 4 – 4.40pm : Climate March. 4.40 – 5pm : Conclude with Poetry – inspired by the Climate Emergency – in the Carfax

This must be a record breaker for Horsham on Saturday 30th November there are going to be three events in Horsham about the social and environmental justice.

Saturday 30th November
Time: 10.30am – 3pm
Venue: Unitarian Church Hall
The event: ‘The Journey of Rubbish: A virtual Tour’ a unique interactive exhibition on sustainability. This event offers an opportunity of practical examples and advice, and personal discussion with experts, this bids to be an unusually varied and informative event for those with a commitment to sustainability. I am confident you would find it stimulating and valuable and very much hope you will wish to attend.

Saturday 30th November
Time: 10am – 4pm
Venue: St Johns RC Church, 3 Springfield Rd, Horsham RH12 2PJ – Near Wilkos.
The event: Horsham Fairtrade Christmas Market ethical and fairtrade stalls. Sussex Green Living will be selling upcycled goods on behalf of the Purple Community Fund and Fairtrade coffee for Nkuringo Education and Community Support.

Saturday 30th November
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Venue: Unitarian Church, Worthing Road, Horsham
The event: Extinction Rebellion Horsham – A public presentation and discussion – The Whole Truth About Climate Change.

Monday 2nd December
Time: 7.30pm – 10pm

Saturday 7th December
Time: 10am – 1pm
Venue and event: Horsham Repair Cafe at its split location:
Horsham Quaker Meeting House, Worthing Road, Horsham, RH12 1SL – the household cleaning product bottle refill service and Earthkind loose, dry and organic food refill.
Unitarian Church Hall (about four buildings up Worthing Road opposite the bus station – same postcode) – All household electrical, phone, computer and textile repairs and energy advice and switching.

We are delighted to announce a new service which will commence from 7th December onwards…..In addition to our clean renewable energy cost comparisons and switching (everyone we have switched has saved between £90 and £366 a year), we are offering ‘Warming communities’ support and advice. This includes practical help and assistance for those people who are fuel poor or in fuel poverty through a range of fuel poverty alleviating methods.  These include but are not limited to reducing expenditure through cheaper tariffs , access to financial assistance and advice on practical ways of reducing energy usage without compromising on staying warm and healthy.
