We are excited to tell you about our GREEN CHAT- food, energy, recycling, repairs, drop & donate sessions.
Where: Pop-Up Horsham, 7 West Street, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 1PB (the old C&H Fabric shop).
When: Currently every Friday 10 – 4pm.
Just pop in, no bookings needed and have a GREEN CHAT with one of knowledgeable and inspiring Sussex Green Living and Horsham Repair Café volunteers. If it proves popular and volunteers are willing, we might be there other days too. Keep an eye on this page for special topics and extra dates.
Our volunteers come with a wide range of knowledge, skills, an overview of all our Sussex Green Living and Horsham Repair Café services and actions people can take to reduce their carbon footprint. Some weeks our amazing recycling volunteers, endearingly called the ‘Sussex Green Living Wombles’, will be on hand to talk about our single use plastic recycling. Some volunteers have inspiring ideas for creative upcycling, food, energy and other topics.
One of our electrical repair café volunteers will be on hand each Friday, to chat about repairs and help make an appointment at the next Horsham Repair Café on the last Saturday each month at the Sussex Green Hub. Although there is no guarantee of being able to repair items in the ‘drop-in’ session Simon might be able to fix things! Be aware we are not running a booking system for repairs at the Pop-Up Horsham shop, it will be first come first serviced, you might have to go and have a coffee and return. Depending on volunteer availability there might be a textile volunteer in attendance too. Keep an eye on this page and the pavement sign outside the shop. This programme is subject to change.
Volunteers will be able to explain how to book appointments for repairs, which take place at pre-agreed times on the last Saturday each month at the Sussex Green Hub. Learn more and book an appointment on a set date and time through our Horsham Repair Café site here.

What is Pop-Up Horsham?
Reinventing our High Street this brand new store opened on November 1st in West Street, right in the heart of Horsham, in a busy pedestrianised area.
Business and lives have changed dramatically in the past year, and so the Pop-Up Horsham team and Horsham District Council (the building owner) are reflecting on these changes by reinventing Horsham’s own high street and giving you the opportunity to experience hybrid retail – online and on the high street.
Pop-Up Horsham is a collective of artisans, craftspeople, and small businesses, the shop is open Tuesday – Saturday 10 am – 4 pm and 10.30am – 4pm on Sunday.
