Our Refill Service

We offer a personal and household cleaning product bottle refill service at the Sussex Green Hub on the last Saturday of every month. You bring your empty bottle and we fill it, you just pay for the liquid, it’s simple as that!  Whatever you are looking to clean in your home (household or personal hygiene), we have a great eco range to choose from, and three main suppliers mean that we cover virtually all your household requirements in an eco friendly product! Bio D, Ecoleaf and Faith in Nature are all great environmentally sound products with the added benefit that they work brilliantly too.

This service was founded by the Horsham Quakers in 2013 with the aim of providing environmentally friendly products at affordable prices and reducing plastic bottle recycling in Horsham District. It became an integral part of the Horsham Repair Café and is now managed by Sussex Green Living and a team of wonderful volunteers.

We buy in bulk from Infinity Foods Cooperative and sell at trade price. Prices are normally well below commercial supermarket price. A downloadable price list (October 2021 prices) can be found here

Where: United Reformed Church, 45 Springfield Rd, Horsham RH12 1PT  (near Wilko off West Street and the Lynd Cross pub and opposite St John the Baptist Church).

Also found at Sussex Green Hub on the last Saturday of every month there are a range of environmental services, solutions and advice, along with lots of friendly non judgmental volunteers who want to help you take small green steps to save money and the planet. Learn more about the Sussex Green Hub here. Plus we have a lovely a community café where you can enjoy a drink and delicious homemade cakes.

Recycling advice

Our Sussex Green Living volunteers will be available to talk about household recycling, what you can and can’t put in your council kerbside bins and lots of ideas as to how you can recycle more single use plastics through our TerraCycle recycling scheme and through the supermarkets who generate so much of the waste.
