Seed Swap and Recycling Fun event

Saturday February 23rd, 2013 10am to 2pm.

Venue: Friends Meeting House, Worthing Road, Horsham RH12 1SL (opposite Sainsburys)

Sussex Green Living recycled robots

Come and seed swap, learn about our precious planet and ways in which you can help to protect it for future generations.  We are going to take some of our Sussex Green Living recycling robots to this event.  We’ll be available to chat about what can and can’t be recycling, promote our Sussex Greener Living recycling scheme and talking about ways in which people can reduce and reuse the amount of waste they produce (this being even better than recycling).  We will be selling beautiful merchandise made out of recycled waste resources by the Philippine Community Fund – illustrating “there is no such thing as rubbish only waste resources in the wrong place”.

So come on… swap your collected seeds, or pick up seeds for a donation, but don’t forget to bring some second hand bags or food tubs to put them in!  Plenty of other stalls to interest you including Warnham Nature Reserve, the Horticultural societies, seed bombs and more. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes. Opening at 10 by Bob Sherman, Chief Horticultual Officer of Garden Organic.
