Sussex Festival of Nature

This Sunday 22nd June sees the annual Sussex Festival of Nature which takes place on the South Downs at Stanmer Park, Brighton. The event allows visitors to explore the varied landscapes of the county, whilst finding out more about sustainable ways to connect with the environment.  Sussex Green Living’s 100% recycled stand, Pedro and his recycled robots will be there, playing green games and giving ideas as to how people can lead a greener life.

It will include:

  • festival market selling locally sourced produce
  • birds of prey
  • sheep shearing
  • heavy horses
  • Biosphere games
  • food court
  • bar
  • family activities
  • and much more!
  • The Sussex Festival of Nature is a dog-friendly event.

    For this year’s Festival, the South Downs National Park Authority have created a video from footage taken at last year’s event. In addition, there is a special two-for-one and discount promotion for visitors who will travel to the event by bus.
