UK homes are getting greener

Simple livingThe UK has a target to reduce the country’s greenhouse gas emissions by a massive 80% before 2050 – an ambitious target no doubt, but most certainly achievable. In just 8 years, the average UK property has increased its EPC (energy performance rating) from an E to a D, and we’re seeing increasing numbers of new properties built to Zero Carbon Standards (Zero Carbon means that the building is so energy efficient, that it will actually exceed an A rating on the EPC scale).  Take a look at this fantastic infographic to find out more about just how green the British are at home.
